Just a 4.5 hour drive from the suburbs of Chicago, Kawaga is the only destination paddle camp in the midwest. Once you arrive, your lodging, meals and paddle are all a short walk away in the great outdoors.
Paddle Facility
Built in 2020, Kawaga’s state-of-the-art platform tennis facility includes 4 paddle courts and a beautiful paddle hut nestled in the pines of the Northwoods.
Paddle Hut
Our thoughtfully designed paddle hut contains top amenities which include comfortable and cozy seating, viewing of all 4 courts, outdoor viewing deck, fireplace, 3 TVs, indoor/outdoor speaker system, kitchenette and bathrooms.

Additional Activites
Along with our brand new, state of the art paddle facility, we offer dozens of additional activities during any season; from paddle boarding, kayaking and sunset pontoon cruises on our pristine Lake Kawaguesaga during the late summer/early fall months to cross country skiing, mountain biking and snowmobiling on the miles of snow-packed forest trails.
Meals
During your all inclusive stay, meals are served family style in our beautiful and newly remodeled mess hall. Our Chicago-based private chef customizes flavorful, healthy and elevated meals using the freshest and highest quality ingredients.
