Day in Review 7/27/17
Camp was awoken to a racket this morning as the CIT’s made their presence known, banging drums and running into cabins to announce to start of the second day of the Menominee competition. All camp polar bears, led into a breakfast, then the Intermediates headed out to Camp Menominee, while the Juniors and Seniors warmed up in anticipation of the competition to arrive. Campers took part in intense games of Basketball, Football, Soccer and Softball with some impressive games won within all age groups and sports. The day closed up with all the campers coming together to watch the Senior A’s softball game in the final match of the competition, though a strong start from Kawaga, and a great game, unfortunately we didn’t take the win. Though this didn’t dampen the spirits of the Braves who headed to dinner contented after a great day of competition. Better luck next year. After a long two days, and a great dinner, campers were happy to hear that tonight’s EP would be movie night, allowing the campers a chance to relax before bed.
