Day in Review 7/26/17

It was a huge day at Camp Kawaga, but the morning’s thunderous downpour threatened to cause havoc with the first day of the Menominee competition.  Luckily with it being a half day, the rain died off just in time for the first round to begin.  Over at Menominee the Intermediates had a competitive afternoon.  Whilst playing with a home advantage, the Senior and Juniors crushed it in Tennis, Hockey and Volleyball.  Perhaps the highlight of the day, was the Wrestling Meet at Menominee, with all the Seniors traveling over for the EP.  The wrestling match was so close it came down to the last match, when the Braves won the celebration was massive. The excitement of which could only be matched by that of the Chips and Sioux’s receiving  Root Beer Floats at tonight’s Beach Night EP.  The day ended with the campers quickly heading to bed in anticipation of tomorrow’s full day of competition, with the score currently at 8 to 16 to Menominee.
