Reunions
The bond between members of the Kawaga Nation runs deep, and even a chance meeting of two or three can ignite the sense of being back on the ‘Shores. Several times throughout the non-summer months, we gather together to reconnect with fellow campers and staff, sharing stories and reliving fond memories. And as we count down the days until camp starts once again, this sense of camaraderie and shared experience only grows stronger, fueling our excitement for the upcoming summer.
Paddle Weekends
Kawaga’s picturesque peninsula offers stunning views of the Northwoods, with pine, birch, and lakes all around. State-of-the-art paddle courts and facilities enhance the experience, while delicious meals add to the enjoyment. This unique and beautiful setting is sure to inspire an annual visit back to the ‘Shores.
Alumni Weekend
Kawaga’s enduring legacy is reflected in our passionate and devoted alumni community, spanning generations of former campers and counselors. Through the Kawaga Professional Network (KPN), alumni continue to serve as mentors, offering year-round career guidance and support to our staff. And every August, this tight-knit community comes together once more to relive cherished memories and reconnect, creating a truly special and unforgettable experience for all involved.
