Clubs – Instructionals

Campers choose two “clubs” each week from a long list of varied activities. Clubs are the most focused instructional phase of camp. Skill development and improvement, along with exposure to new activities and areas, are stressed. Clubs are organized based upon campers’ age and initial level of proficiency, offering more advanced instruction as skills develop. Clubs are taught by staff members proficient in the particular activity, supported by additional counselors, coaches, and instructors so that we offer a highly personal level of instruction.

Campers sign up for two clubs for each of the first three weeks of each session. Each club period is 75 minutes. Campers cannot sign up for the same club twice in a session in order to encourage them to try new activities. Some clubs — due to their popularity — are offered each week, while others are offered only a couple of times during a session to provide variety and fun.
